3 ways to Elevate your RMW

I LOVE to walk. I feel like during Covid, people re-discovered the power of a walk. I find it hilarious that walking, literally the most basic form of movement that we all do everyday, suddenly became this life changing trend in exercise and mental health. Tired? Go on a walk! Stressed? Go on a walk! Feeling overindulged? Go on a walk!

As much as I love walking solo, there really is nothing better that a RMW with some girlfriends. For those who don’t follow Tinx Culture - RMW stands for Rich Mom Walk. If I’m alone, I love listening to a podcast on a walk. But walking with a friend and catching up on “all the things” is one of my favorite pastimes. A weekly walk with a friend can do WONDERS for your mental health. The best thing about walking is that it’s free and you can literally do it anywhere.

Here are 3 things I do to elevate my RMW.

  1. Spa Water - I love treating myself to spa water. Why drink plain water when you can really jazz it up? At a very minimum, I always squeeze a little lemon juice in my water. But if I’m feeling extra, I’ll add in some fresh mint leaves. There is something about the combo of lemon juice and mint leaves that taste like nature’s gatorade to me.

  2. Bala Weights - Bala weights are the best! The give you just enough of a little extra boost to any walk or workout. They are also the most comfortable wearable weights that I’ve tried. I like switching it up between wearing on my wrists and ankles during walks.

  3. Vibey Playlist - I love podcasts and they are great for listening to on walks to help the time fly by. But if I’m wanting to get the creative juices flowing, nothing beats a playlist on a walk. I highly recommend this one for a little serotonin boost!
